On <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Saturday July 20<\/strong><\/span> AASCEND presents\u00a0<span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Michael Bernick<\/strong><\/span>, former\u00a0<strong>director of the California State labor department,<\/strong> \u00a0speaking on the changing landscape of employment statewide and how it affects our autism community today. He currently is Counsel with the Sedgwick LLP law firm in San Francisco, and a Research Fellow in Employment with the Milken Institute. He is a graduate of Harvard College (BA), Oxford University (Balliol College, B.
