A<\/span>A<\/span>S<\/span>C<\/span>E<\/span>N<\/span>D<\/span>\u2018s <\/strong>2017 picnic was a heartwarming\u00a0success, with over fifty revelers attending, including a handful of\u00a0welcome\u00a0newcomers. There were piles of tasty\u00a0food, with\u00a0amazing barbecue courtesy of Jim Ullrey. The sun brought welcome warmth to winds\u00a0that sent baseballs and birdies flying \u00a0and made us wish we’d brought kites. Conviviality and spirited conversation abounded, and\u00a0it\u00a0was a fine day all around!<\/p>\n

It’s that time again! Join the festivities at\u00a0A<\/span>A<\/span>S<\/span>C<\/span>E<\/span>N<\/span>D<\/span>\u2018s annual potluck\u00a0picnic in the park\u00a0<\/strong>Saturday September 16. All are welcome for an afternoon of informal socializing and games with our community.\u00a0This year\u2019s picnic will be held again at\u00a0Hellman Hollow\u00a0<\/strong>(formerly Speedway Meadow)\u00a0in Golden Gate Park.<\/strong>\u00a0We will have food and drink, but bring something to share if you can. No RSVP is necessary. Set-up begins at 11:00 AM.<\/p>\n
